December has a way of making everything feel urgent and reflective at the same time. You’re closing out the year, thinking about what you’ve done and what you haven’t, and somewhere in the back of your mind you’re already asking yourself what next year is actually going to look like.
Power, Permission and Purpose is the session I designed specifically for that moment. It’s two hours to look honestly at the year, reclaim what you’ve learned from it, and design the next chapter of your leadership with intention rather than inertia.
Because if you don’t design it, the year will design it for you, and we both know how that tends to go.
I’m Madeline McQueen. I’ve been working with women in leadership for more than 20 years, and December is always the month where the real conversations happen. The year is almost over, the guard comes down a little, and women start asking themselves the questions they haven’t had time to sit with.
This session holds space for those questions. It’s honest and reflective, and forward-looking all at once. You’ll leave with a clear account of the year behind you, and a real design for the year ahead. No, not a wish list, a plan.
This is not a lecture. It is two hours of real, practical working time.
What did you achieve? What did you tolerate? What did you learn? This is honest reflection, not performance review. We look at the real year, not the version on your LinkedIn.
Where did you play small this year? Where did you stand tall? You’ll build your leadership wins list, a document of evidence that you tend not to keep but absolutely should.
Ambition, self-worth and allowing yourself to want more. Many women in leadership edit their own ambitions down before they’ve even voiced them. This session creates space to stop doing that.
Leadership goals, personal goals, impact goals. A vision exercise that connects who you are to what you’re building, so January has a direction rather than just a to-do list. You choose your word for the year ahead. Simple, personal, yours!
