3 Ways Simple Ways To Get Your Game On

Often the obvious answer is the answer. We try and make our lives so difficult when they really don’t have to be.Jumping Today I’m focusing on three ways to get your game on, three things that you can do to move from living your life in your head to living your life out loud.

Simply, easy and effective.

  1. Put a notebook and pen by your bed, in your bag or just keep one with you. When you get hit with a thought action or idea, write it down. This works for you on a number of levels, firstly you won’t forget it, secondly, it’s out of your head, creating more space and thirdly you are more likely to take action on it. There is so much that is going on in our heads that it’s often hard to really focus on what we want or what we need to do to get it. Over the years, I’ve had times in the middle of the night when my head was bursting with information, thoughts, ideas, dreams and actions.
  2. Believe that you can achieve what you want to because you can. I know this is a little-left field, but all of those things that you write down are things that you want to do or achieve or thoughts that have meaning that you would like to apply to your life or revelations that impact your thinking and actions. So believe that these things can be achieved or integrated into your life. For one reason and one reason only… because you can. Too often our ideas and dreams are stolen or left behind because someone said that we can’t. I’m here to tell you that you can.
  3. Just do it – whatever it is that you want to do just do it. Give it a go and you will surprise yourself. The more you do, the more you will do and the better results you will get. This year I’ve achieved so much more because I got on and did it, it’s made me realise just how much more I can do simply by taking action. It sounds too simple; the truth is… it is.

Back in my sales days, I was taught to KISS - Keep it Silly Simple. It’s some of the best advice I’ve ever received simply because it’s effective and true. More often than not, we just need to get on and do.
