How to Make Today Count - Because every day is your day
There are some days when you just don’t feel right. It’s like you woke you lost and abandoned and your mojo literally just upped and left you. It’s like fog and you just can’t seem to find your way through it. Your day meanders on and nothing really gets done. Some days its hard to make your day count for you. Some days it feels like a hard slog and nothing is going right. Some days you don’t even know what you are supposed to be doing, the fog is so dense. It seems that there is no light at the end of the tunnel and even if there is, you just can’t reach it.
So how do you combat this feeling so that you can make today count for you?
Call a friend – Especially one who you know will be able to give you that pick me up.
Put some music on – you know that track that gets you going and fills your soul.
Play a podcast – if you’re into them then you most probably have a podcaster that lifts you, play it.
Go for a walk – there is something about fresh air and nature that gives you a booster, all of that good oxygen really lifts you.
Do a workout – endorphins are crucial to how you feel and a good workout to great music can truly lift you.
Change your environment – If can go to the coffee shop, go out for lunch or find somewhere that you can be.
Journal – write down what you are feeling and get it out of your head and on paper, then you can free yourself from the internal negative dialogue.
Grab a cup of coffee (or your favourite hot drink tipple) and savour it, then get to work!
You can do one of these or you could do all of them. But do something. Every day counts, and every day comes with the opportunity to bring you closer to your goals and your success. Everyday comes with an opportunity to make a difference for you and your loved ones. Don’t leave it to chance. I know that it can be frustrating when the fog comes but you can, definitely, take control and change your state and make today count for you.
